Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a water chemistry and sustainability expert to influence water treatment design for our global data center portfolio.

You will collaborate with design engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance teams to define, design, and document water treatment features that support safe operations and uninterrupted services. The role focuses on on-site and campus water systems, including coordination with utilities and internal water teams to establish

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation or oil & gas facilities.
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region and ability to work with AHJs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee water supply analysis and design for buildings.
• Coordinate water treatment system space requirements, supporting utilities, and equipment locations.
• Provide detailed construction specifications for water treatment systems.
• Prepare detailed designs for water treatment and sustainability systems and ensure they meet design standards.
• Coordinate with design disciplines to meet code requirements and review submittals.
• Travel up to 25% as needed to support global projects.
