Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to influence water chemistry, sustainability, and next-generation data center design across our global fleet. You will coordinate with design, construction, operations, and maintenance teams to document and implement water treatment features that meet code requirements and protect customers.

You will perform water supply analysis, space planning for treatment systems, and prepare detailed construction

Qualifications

6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers or oil/gas facilities.
Experience researching new designs, technologies and construction methods for data center equipment.
10+ years of design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.

Responsibilities

Driving improvement of design standards and project approaches across AWS data centers.
Coordinate with design vendors to ensure designs meet AWS standards and AHJ requirements.
Provide high quality water treatment advice on projects globally with internal teams.
Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and risk management teams for RFIs and VEs.
Ensure code compliance, design and installation standards, water supply evaluation and testing.
