Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services seeks an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to influence water chemistry, design, and sustainability for our global data center fleet, coordinating with design engineering, construction, operations and maintenance.

You will prepare detailed water treatment designs, ensure code compliance, and review space and equipment locations, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of design, construction, operations, OR facility maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region.

Responsibilities

• Drive design standards and project approaches for water treatment across global data centers.
• Coordinate with construction, commissioning, risk management teams for RFIs and VE queries.
• Provide high quality water treatment advice on various projects with global Mechanical engineering teams.
• Ensure AHJ approvals and code compliance for water treatment features.
