Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a water treatment engineer to influence water chemistry and sustainability across our global data center fleet.

You will design, document, and specify water treatment features, coordinating with design, construction, and operations teams to protect people and data integrity. Responsibilities include leading water supply analyses, coordinating with utilities, and producing detailed designs for water treatment and sustainability systems, while ensuring code

Qualifications

4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
4+ years of commissioning experience
Experience in commissioning and related design/construction activities

Responsibilities

Drive improvement of water treatment design standards and project approaches globally
Review concept designs with third party vendors to meet design standards and AHJ requirements
Provide high-quality water treatment advice across projects and coordinate with engineering teams
Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and risk management teams on RFIs and value engineering
Ensure code compliance, design/installation standards, water supply evaluation and testing, and AHJ approvals
Travel up to 25% as needed
