Job summary

Vontier is seeking a Vice President of Software Engineering for its Convenience Retail division. The role leads the global engineering organization responsible for retail solutions spanning cloud IoT, on-prem devices, POS microservices, telemetry, and analytics for the global market.

You will shape the technology vision with CTO and executives, manage 100-250+ engineers, travel up to 15%, and drive secure, scalable software across geographies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a leadership role within retail tech or a tech company.
• Deep knowledge of cloud systems and modern technology providers.
• Proven executive-level communication and large customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global engineering team across multiple locations.
• Craft and execute a cohesive technology vision and roadmap.
• Collaborate with CTO and executives to deliver next-gen retail solutions.
• Oversee software, DevOps, ProdOps, QA, and security for critical products.
