Job summary

Vontier seeks a visionary Vice President of Software Engineering to lead its global Convenience Retail engineering team. You will oversee cloud IoT, POS, analytics and on-premise systems, guiding architecture and delivery across multiple regions.

Partner with the CTO and executives to craft technology strategy, ensure secure, scalable software, and drive innovation in retail solutions while managing a 100-250+ engineering organization. Up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years in a leadership role within retail solutions or tech.
• Deep knowledge of cloud systems and modern tech providers.
• Proven track record with large customers and executive audiences.
• Experience leading 100-250+ engineers.
• Knowledge of security standards and PCI certifications.
• Led software development on cloud-native systems with scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a global engineering organization across multiple locations.
• Oversee a large business portfolio and drive a cohesive technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with CTO and executives to implement Retail Technology vision.
• Drive delivery of next-generation retail solutions including POS, IoT and cloud-based systems.
