Affirm, Inc. is seeking a VP, People Business Partners & Employee Relations to lead global PBP and ER functions, partnering with the CPO, PLT, and XLT to guide enterprise-level people decisions.

The role focuses on building high-performing teams, redesigning operating models, and advising executives on workforce strategy while ensuring fair, scalable ER practices across the organization. This remote-first, US-based position offers a competitive compensation package.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of progressive People leadership experience in global technology contexts.
• Experience leading a global PBP organization and building high-performing teams.
• Experience leading Employee Relations, including sensitive investigations with Legal.
• Demonstrated partnership with C-suite executives and independent judgment.
• Deep expertise in organizational consulting, effectiveness, and strategic workforce planning.
• Strong business acumen and learning agility with the ability to form independent views.
• Sharp talent judgment for executive decisions.
• Ability to anticipate organizational and workforce risks and opportunities.
• Executive presence and emotional intelligence; handles difficult conversations with poise.
• Sound judgment in sensitive people decisions balancing business needs and risk.

Aufgaben

• Define strategy and operating model for global PBP and ER; redesign roles and capabilities.
• Build high-performing PBP and ER teams with clear standards and accountability.
• Advise XLT on enterprise-wide leadership, talent, and organizational decisions.
• Develop understanding of affirm's business to anticipate workforce implications.
• Partner with XLT on workforce strategy and talent deployment; leverage AI and new operating models.
• Design organizations and operating models that clarify accountability and increase speed.
• Improve leadership decisions via talent planning, succession, and performance reviews.
• Guide leaders through significant organizational change and execution discipline.
• Set the ER strategy and operating model globally; ensure fairness and scalability.
• Oversee complex ER matters in partnership with Legal and executive leadership.
• Translate ER data trends into proactive actions to strengthen leadership and performance.
