Job summary

insightsoftware seeks a Vice President of Engineering to lead a global team across the EPM portfolio, modernize legacy applications, build SaaS and multi-tenant capabilities, and push AI-enabled features while maintaining reliability.

You will own the portfolio's build, shipping, and operations, drive security and compliance, and partner with Product to deliver value to finance teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years in software leadership; VP of Engineering experience preferred.
• Experience modernizing on-premise apps to cloud-native SaaS.
• Hands-on leadership with multi-tenant SaaS and security/compliance.
• Proven success improving DORA metrics and software quality at scale.
• Experience shipping AI/features to production with agentic tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple software development teams across geographies and product lines.
• Drive engineering roadmaps, delivery plans, and Agile/Lean practices.
• Ensure security, compliance, and operational excellence (SLOs, incident management).
• Partner with Product to deliver AI capabilities in production.
• Manage budgets and vendor contracts; mentor managers and engineers.
