Citi is seeking a Vice President of Software Engineering to lead scalable, cloud-native software initiatives across enterprise platforms. You will mentor a global team, drive AI integration, and ensure SAFe-aligned delivery while partnering with product and DevOps to optimize pipelines and observability.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise in Java/React, data engineering, and modern UI development, with a focus on secure, high-performance systems in a financial services setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in software engineering with hands-on experience.
• Proven cloud-native architecture experience on public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong background in microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on with React and TypeScript for UI development.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale engineering initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Align work with SAFe Agile principles for predictable delivery.
• Architect scalable systems using cloud-native patterns.
