Job summary

International Medical Relief in the United States seeks a full-time Volunteer Recruitment & Coordination role based in Colorado. You will manage the office and respond to volunteers, coordinate pre-trip communications, and help with travel documentation and on-boarding for short-term humanitarian deployments.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in volunteer recruitment, a college degree, and strong communication skills, with a focus on service and flexibility. Health insurance and PTO offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in volunteer recruitment and coordination.
• Public health/nonprofit experience desirable.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields.
• Passion for international humanitarian relief.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and results-oriented.
• Experience with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Manage office calls and emails from volunteers and online systems.
• Prepare volunteers for short-term international work via regular updates.
• Assist volunteers with travel/work documentation.
• Organize outgoing supplies and retrieve supplies from returnees.
• Orient and onboard volunteers to clinic processes during prep and fieldwork.
• Contribute to reporting of indicators and mission reports.
