Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Lead UX Designer to own user experience strategy for a key component of the Genius portfolio.

You will define experience strategy, drive customer-centered design, evolve design systems, and help shape our digital commerce experiences across mobile, web, kiosk, and POS. You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Product Delivery teams to drive UX maturity, lead efforts from discovery to delivery, and champion accessibility and usability

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in UX Design or related field.
Typically 8+ years of UX or product design experience.
Experience designing customer-facing digital experiences on mobile and web.
Experience partnering with Product Management and Engineering teams.
Experience developing user journeys, personas, and design strategies.
Experience establishing or evolving design systems and component libraries.
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the user experience vision across mobile, web, kiosk, and POS.
Lead user-centered design efforts from discovery through delivery with PM and Engineering.
Own personas, journey maps, and interaction models informing product strategy.
Establish scalable design systems and reusable patterns.
Oversee usability testing and user research, including external vendors if needed.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for stakeholder alignment.
Advocate accessibility and modern UX within the Product Development Lifecycle.
