Job summary

Leidos Defense in Hawaii is seeking a Travel Coordinator to provide comprehensive travel coordination and administrative support for the ILS2 Program. The Travel Coordinator is the primary contact for travel planning and execution, ensuring timely, compliant domestic and international travel for program personnel.

The role requires coordinating airfare, lodging, and related expenses while ensuring compliance with Joint Travel Regulations and Leidos policies.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of travel coordination experience on government or commercial programs.
  • Knowledge of corporate travel systems and expense reporting.
  • 3 years of Microsoft Office suite experience.
  • At least 1 year with FEDSIM/DoW or large commercial contracts.
  • Familiarity with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and government travel policies.
  • At least 1 year using CONCUR travel systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all domestic and international travel arrangements for program personnel.
  • Prepare and process travel authorizations, expense reports, and reimbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate travel policies and government travel guidance.
  • Monitor travel requests and resolve issues before, during, and after travel.
  • Coordinate with program management and finance to support travel requirements.
  • Maintain travel records and reporting for program governance.
  • Develop and update travel SOPs to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Prepare travel status reports and other administrative metrics.
