Job summary

Leidos Defense in Hawaii is seeking a Training Manager to lead global training and knowledge management for the Indo-Pacific Logistics Support 2 (ILS2) program. You will design classroom, on-the-job, and distance learning for U.S. government, partner nations, and allies.

The role translates complex operational systems into practical curricula, oversees SharePoint environments, and coordinates training platforms to ensure readiness and timely access to SOPs and records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience in curriculum development, training conduct, and instructional systems design.
• Experience managing and delivering training programs within geographically dispersed or OCONUS operating environments.
• Experience supporting skills gap analysis, knowledge management, or technical documentation functions.
• Proven ability to translate customer requirements into practical knowledge products, curricula, or SOPs.
• Strong technical writing, editing, analytical, and information organization skills.
• Experience developing standard operating procedures, process documentation, user guides, and managing structured data repositories.
• Ability to work independently, manage rapidly changing priorities, and effectively lead cross‑functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Global Training Strategy & Delivery: Design and execute methodical, learning-science-based training strategies for a geographically dispersed workforce.
• Operational & Mission Systems Training: Develop comprehensive training documentation, manuals, and exercises for advanced technical systems.
• Instructional Design & Content Generation: Apply ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s principles to create engaging curricula and materials.
• Knowledge & Records Management: Manage MS 365 and SharePoint knowledge environments and training data.
• Training Platform Coordination: Coordinate IT infrastructure and training platforms globally for hands-on training.
• SME & Customer Alignment: Work with SMEs to translate customer requirements into tailored training for logistics tools.
