Job summary

Leidos is seeking an International Program Coordinator in Huntsville, AL to lead complex international defense programs interfacing with government clients, foreign partners, subcontractors, and internal teams. You will own scope, schedule, and budget while driving results across borders, leveraging multilingual capabilities to facilitate communication.

The role requires a strong program management background, DoD Secret clearance eligibility, and willingness to travel internationally up to 70%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, International Relations, Systems Engineering, or a related field and 8–12 years of program management experience OR Master’s with 6–10 years of experience.
• Experience with U.S. Government acquisition process, FAR/DFARS compliance and international acquisition frameworks.
• Proven experience managing programs with international scope, including FMS or DCS or other international defense programs.
• Strong leadership with ability to influence cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive-level audiences.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, secure, and manage resources to achieve international program goals.
• Ensure programs stay within scope, schedule, and budget with direct P&L responsibility.
• Interface with leaders, subcontractors, foreign government reps, and support staff across countries/time zones.
• Lead coordination of government acquisition activities in international environments with regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.
• Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations to executives and clients.
