Job summary

Meta is seeking a Global Transportation Planning Manager in Menlo Park to shape how Meta moves people today and in the future. You will design and optimize commuter shuttle services, drive strategic planning for global transportation programs, and partner with Real Estate and Workplace Planning to inform office location strategy.

The role leads projects spanning multiple pillars, develops analytical frameworks, and communicates insights to senior leadership while advancing sustainability goals

Qualifications

• 8+ years in transportation planning, transit operations, or mobility program management.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from concept to implementation.
• Experience with data analysis, service planning tools, and GIS.
• Experience partnering with real estate, workplace, or facilities on location strategy.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to senior leadership.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and procurement (RFPs, contracts).
• Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in transportation planning, urban planning, operations, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead commuter shuttle network planning including route design, service modeling, capacity analysis, and fleet strategy.
• Develop and refine transportation programs (shuttle, vanpool, microtransit, carpool).
• Drive long-range transportation strategy aligned with Meta's growth plans, hybrid work policies, and sustainability goals.
• Provide transportation feasibility analyses, commute modeling, and connectivity insights for site decisions.
• Lead cross-pillar initiatives (fleet replacement, vendor RFPs, tech implementations).
• Develop dashboards and models to evaluate program performance and forecast demand.
• Build relationships with Finance, Facilities, Sustainability, Security and vendors.
• Identify efficiencies and establish best practices across the program.
