Job summary

OpenAI's San Francisco-based Global Transportation Program Senior Manager leads the strategy and day-to-day operations for employee commuting across offices. You will drive launches, manage shuttles, parking, transit benefits, micromobility, and EV charging while coordinating budgets and vendor performance to deliver reliable, cost-effective services.

The role requires scaling programs across markets, building repeatable processes, and collaborating with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and Benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling employee transportation programs across multiple countries.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
• Ability to forecast capacity and costs and manage budgets.
• Data-driven decision making to optimize costs and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the global transportation expansion roadmap, including market planning, budgets, and service launches.
• Manage the global employee transportation portfolio across shuttles, parking, micromobility, transit and commuter benefits.
• Build a scalable operating model with repeatable launch playbooks and clear ownership.
• Manage transportation vendors from sourcing through renewals and performance reviews.
• Own program budgets, forecasts, invoice reviews, and business cases; analyze utilization and cost to guide investments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated transit and benefits programs.
