Job summary

ABB seeks a Director of International Transformation within its NEMA Motors division in the US. This hybrid role drives strategic transformation across Regions and functions, building scalable operating models to enable international growth and managing a Transformation Office. Expect 30–40% travel and executive-level accountability for roadmap delivery.

Fluent English required; 10+ years in transformation, strategy, or consulting, with ERP/CRM familiarity and industrial/B2B context preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in business transformation, strategy execution or related roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional transformation across geographies or business units.
• Ability to align senior stakeholders behind a shared agenda without direct authority.
• Experience translating strategy into executable roadmaps, governance and measurable outcomes.
• Strong business acumen linking transformation to growth, margin and cash.
• Fluency in English with excellent executive communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the NEMA International transformation roadmap aligned with Stabilize-Optimize-Scale, with clear outcomes and milestones.
• Act as senior integrator between NEMA International and Global Business Lines with governance and cross-functional commitments.
• Lead resolution of systemic barriers at interfaces between International Sales, Global Operations, IT, Finance, HR and others.
• Serve as custodian of the NEMA International target operating model and evolving governance, processes and capabilities.
• Lead an executive-level International Transformation Office managing portfolio, cadence, dependencies and risk escalation.
• Lead adoption of the new international organization through change leadership and capability building.
