Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Manager – Training Deployment to coordinate training delivery for Airport Operations across system hubs, regional stations and international operations. You will lead a team of instructors delivering initial, recurrent and ad-hoc training across hubs, regions and vendors.

Responsibilities include translating business needs into learning solutions, managing budgets and resources, and driving adoption of learning technologies to ensure timely, high-quality programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of operational experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases.
• Excellent time management, follow-through and organizational skills.
• Experience building strong relationships and working in a team environment.
• Strategic and forward-thinking skills.
• Must obtain a SIDA badge to work at the airport.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into learning solutions that meet performance, regulatory, and bargaining requirements.
• Ensure training programs are timely, of high quality and within budget.
• Manage training resources, materials, facilities and enrollment/training tracking.
• Drive implementation and adoption of learning technologies with users.
• Collaborate with learning technology leaders to track courses in the LMS.
• Ensure test administration and results comply with policies and legal requirements.
• Assess competencies and plan curriculum development.
• Partner with leaders to prioritize curricula design, development, testing and evaluation.
• Provide timely support to hubs to deliver high-quality training and escalate issues system-wide.
