Job summary

Coda Search Staffing is seeking an experienced Import/Export Coordinator for a full-time on-site role in Moonachie, NJ. You will manage import/export documentation, coordinate shipments, and serve as the main point of contact for customers.

The ideal candidate has hands-on import/export experience with an NVOCC, strong knowledge of operations and documentation, and excellent communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on import/export experience with an NVOCC.
• Knowledge of import/export operations and documentation.
• Customer service experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export documentation and shipment processes.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments from initiation through completion.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of import/export documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and be a key contact for customers.
• Ensure shipments comply with customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, vendors, and stakeholders regarding shipment status and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments.
• Effectively manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
