Ben Aris LLC is seeking a Trade & Compliance Specialist to oversee regulatory compliance for US trade activities. You will review and interpret trade regulations, establish procedures, and collaborate with internal teams to prevent compliance issues across import/export processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in tax, accounting, or finance with CPA preferred and 3+ years in customs or tax, with SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in tax, accounting, finance, or related fields; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a customs brokerage or tax consulting firm or over 5+ years in a large company.
• Experience with SAP system is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review and interpret U.S. trade regulations and provide guidance to internal teams.
• Establish and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Review business transactions for regulatory compliance.
• Review importation/exportation to maintain duty drawback; apply for drawback.
• Collaborate with external tax experts to develop tax compliance processes.
• Review import process, tariff calculation and payment.
• Coordinate with customs broker on CBP documents filing for inbound/outbound bonded tank shipments.
• Coordinate with internal teams to control key process points and avoid compliance issues.
• Coordinate with rail/tank truck carriers and brokers for bonded shipment releases and bond close.
• Reconcile bonded inventory.
• Handle US/Canada cross-border importing and bonded tank imports.
