Job summary

ArcBest is seeking a Trade Compliance Coordinator to serve as a key contact for customs support across the ArcBest network, designing and implementing compliance solutions for strategic customer needs. You will standardize procedures, manage regulatory reporting and training, and coordinate with leadership, offices, and drivers to ensure accurate customs documentation and efficient international shipments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• Procurement experience preferred.
• Knowledge of trade compliance regulations for international freight.
• Understanding of penalty mitigation processes for CBP/CBSA.
• Familiarity with service center policies and cross-department workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and standardizing all trade compliance procedures across the ArcBest organization.
• Perform daily activities such as regulatory reporting, compliance training, and auditing procedures.
• Facilitate movement and compliance of international shipments.
• Instruct office personnel and drivers on proper customs reporting procedures.
• Effectively distribute and prioritize workflow to maximize efficiency.
• Serve as a liaison between ArcBest headquarters and remote campuses.
• Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
