Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Senior Trade & FTZ Compliance Manager to lead global trade compliance across import/export. You will guide teams, brokers, and clients on U.S. and international rules, shaping sustainable programs, audits, training, and systems.

Responsibilities include HTS/origin determinations, policy development, and regulatory monitoring, with collaboration across internal stakeholders and service providers to mitigate risk and ensure compliant operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
10+ years of global trade compliance leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of U.S. CBP requirements and export control regulations.
Experience with HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, and origin determinations.
Experience managing customs brokers and third‑party service providers.
Experience with Oracle, SAP, SAP GTS, or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Lead day‑to‑day global trade compliance for import/export operations.
Advise on CBP, BIS, OFAC and related regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain trade compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on operations and clients.
Identify compliance risks and monitor corrective actions through resolution.
Oversee HTS classification, origin determinations, and entry requirements.
Review customs entries for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with brokers to resolve entry discrepancies and inquiries.
Support audits, protests, and government inquiries.
Establish and maintain trade compliance data within ERP systems.
