Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Senior Trade & FTZ Compliance Manager to lead global trade compliance across import and export operations, ensuring U.S. and international regulatory adherence.

You will advise business teams, brokers, clients and internal stakeholders while identifying risks and implementing sustainable processes. The role requires deep knowledge of HTS, ECCN, EAR, OFAC, and country of origin determinations, plus experience with Oracle, SAP, SAP GTS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of global trade compliance leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements and export control regulations.
• Experience with HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, country of origin, customs valuation, export licensing, sanctions, and restricted-party screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day global trade compliance activities across import and export operations.
• Provide guidance on U.S. Customs, BIS, OFAC and other regulations.
• Develop and maintain trade compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on operations.
• Oversee HTS, country of origin, and customs valuation classifications.
• Support CBP inquiries, audits, and export control reviews.
