Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Senior Trade & FTZ Compliance Manager in a global capacity to lead import/export compliance across operations, ensuring adherence to U.S. and international regulations. You will drive programs, procedures, and controls while guiding internal teams, brokers, and clients.

The role requires monitoring regulatory changes, performing audits, and coordinating corrective actions. A decade of leadership in trade compliance, plus hands-on experience with Oracle/SAP, is preferred for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years in global trade compliance leadership.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. CBP requirements and export control regulations.
• Experience with HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, country of origin and customs valuation.
• Experience managing brokers and third-party service providers.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, SAP GTS or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to conduct trade compliance audits, risk assessments and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day global trade compliance activities for import/export operations.
• Provide guidance on US Customs, BIS, OFAC and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain trade compliance policies, procedures and controls.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on operations and clients.
• Identify risks, implement corrective actions and monitor remediation.
• Oversee HTS classification, country of origin, duties and entry requirements.
• Review customs entries and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Partner with brokers to resolve entry discrepancies and inquiries.
• Support CBP inquiries, audits, and other trade compliance matters.
• Oversee export compliance including ECCN/USML classifications and license determinations.
• Provide guidance on EAR requirements, sanctions, and recordkeeping.
• Maintain master data in Oracle, SAP, SAP GTS and other systems.
• Develop trade compliance audits, assessments and transactional reviews.
