Job summary

Arvato, a leading 3PL provider, seeks a Senior Trade & FTZ Compliance Manager to lead global trade compliance for import/export operations in a multinational setting. You will guide regulatory requirements and strengthen internal controls across business teams and brokers.

Key responsibilities include policy development, audits, and data integrity in ERP systems while coordinating with clients and government agencies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of global trade compliance leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. CBP requirements and export controls.
• Experience with HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, country of origin, customs valuation, licensing, sanctions, and screening.
• Experience managing customs brokers and third‑party providers.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, SAP GTS, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership, clients, brokers, and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day global trade compliance across import/export operations.
• Provide guidance on CBP, BIS, OFAC and other requirements.
• Develop and maintain trade compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on operations.
• Identify risks and drive corrective actions and remediation.
• Oversee import compliance: HTS classification, origin, valuation, duties, entry.
• Review customs entries for accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with customs brokers to resolve discrepancies.
• Support CBP inquiries, CF-28/CF-29s, audits and disclosures.
• Oversee export compliance: ECCN/USML, licensing, documentation.
• Ensure data accuracy in HTS, Schedule B, country of origin determinations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain product info for determinations.
• Maintain master data in Oracle, SAP, SAP GTS, and systems.
• Develop trade compliance audits and transactional reviews.
