Job summary

JMJ PHILLIP is seeking an experienced Export and Import Control Officer to oversee trade compliance programs, ensuring adherence to export and import laws and supporting compliant international operations from Rock Hill.

The role emphasizes licensing coordination, regulatory monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration to mitigate regulatory risks and strengthen internal controls. A Bachelor’s degree and several years in trade compliance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business or related field preferred.
• Several years of experience in export controls, import compliance, or international trade.
• Strong knowledge of export/import regulations and trade compliance requirements.
• Experience managing export classifications, licensing requirements, and compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with restricted party screening and trade compliance due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage export and import compliance activities.
• Review and monitor transactions to identify potential compliance risks.
• Determine licensing requirements and manage license applications and documentation.
• Maintain records of licenses, classifications, and compliance activities.
• Conduct compliance reviews and investigate concerns; support audits.
