Job summary

Larson Maddox is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager in North Carolina to advise on U.S. export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance. You will monitor regulatory changes and support licensing, filings, and communications with government agencies as part of the role.

Ideal candidates will have strong EAR/OFAC knowledge, experience in multinational settings, and a degree in Law or related field. This position is based in North Carolina with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EAR, OFAC, and U.S. customs regulations.
• Experience in a multinational or industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Degree in Law, International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Advise on U.S. export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess business impact.
• Support licensing, regulatory filings, and communications with government agencies.
• Partner with business teams on complex compliance matters and risk mitigation.
• Assist with customs compliance, broker management, audits, and recordkeeping.
• Help drive trade compliance awareness and training across the organization.
• Coordinate with the Global Customs team on topics requiring central input such as classification, valuation, and origin
• Handle interactions with US authorities where required, including support for license applications, requests, and regulatory communication
• Support the Regional Trade Compliance Manager in implementing export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance requirements in the US
