Job summary

Voltava seeks a Customs & Trade Compliance Manager to lead our global compliance program, ensuring adherence to US and international regulations while supporting an efficient supply chain. You will serve as the internal expert on customs, tariffs, and export controls, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will manage brokers, oversee import/export operations, and identify cost-saving opportunities through tariff programs and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, Logistics, Finance, Trade Compliance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in customs, global trade compliance, import/export, international logistics, or supply chain compliance.
• Experience with compliance audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Voltava’s customs and trade compliance program, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and internal controls.
• Serve as the primary SME on customs, tariffs, trade regulations, and export controls.
• Manage customs broker relationships, performance, and compliance, including KPIs and corrective actions.
• Oversee import compliance, including HTS classification, country of origin, and recordkeeping.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on tariff implications and compliance.
• Identify duty savings and cost-reduction opportunities through tariff engineering and trade programs.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions to stay audit-ready.
• Lead export compliance including ITAR/EAR and screening.
