Job summary

Wolfspeed, Inc. is seeking an experienced Global Trade Compliance Manager to lead and optimize our complex import/export compliance program in a global context. You will collaborate with R&D, product management, operations, logistics, and legal teams to implement robust controls and guidance aligned with U.S.

and international regulations. The role requires 7+ years of expertise in export controls, ITAR/EAR, sanctions, and customs, with strong project management and communication skills to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field.
• 7+ years’ experience in international trade compliance, including export controls, customs, sanctions, and related logistics topics.

Responsibilities

• Support, implement, and maintain global trade compliance program (policies, procedures, internal controls, compliance IT systems, documentation, training, etc.).
• Interpret changes in trade laws and guide internal stakeholders on business impact.
• Collaborate with functions to identify export/import needs and implement program requirements.
• Conduct transaction diligence, screen for restricted parties, and manage export licenses or license exceptions.
• Oversee customs brokerage and duty mitigation programs to optimize costs.
• Perform internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and drive improvements.
• Provide regulatory reporting to leadership and training across departments.
