Job summary

Brightstar Lottery seeks a Trade Compliance Manager to lead its global import and export compliance program and serve as the company’s subject matter expert on customs matters. This hands-on role requires a strong analytical mindset, a willingness to investigate transactions and filings, and the ability to drive process improvements across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5–8+ years of global trade compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HTS classification, valuation, origin rules, duties, and FTAs.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with management stakeholders.
• Experience developing SOPs, controls, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global import/export compliance program across regions.
• Ensure cross-border movements comply with CBP, CBSA, SAT, EU, etc.
• Maintain Trade Compliance Policy, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Serve as internal subject matter expert on customs requirements and duties.
• Own HTS classifications and identify duty savings and efficiency opportunities.
• Perform tariff reviews and classification validations.
• Oversee import/export documentation quality and broker filings.
• Provide guidance on special classifications, complex transactions, and temporary imports.
• Identify and mitigate trade compliance risk across the supply chain.
• Partner with Transportation to ensure smooth border crossings.
