Job summary

Amazon in Seattle is seeking an experienced trade leader to shape global export compliance policies as Prime Air expands into new markets. The role sits at the intersection of advanced drone delivery tech and complex international trade regulations.

You will build scalable export compliance solutions, drive automation, and partner with Engineering, Operations, Legal, Tax and Public Policy to embed compliance into business processes. This is a high-impact role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Master’s degree or 7+ years of work experience.
• Experience in trade compliance, customs operations, customs brokerage, supply chain, logistics or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale Prime Air's global export compliance program.
• Shape policies, processes, and work instructions that keep pace with regulatory changes.
• Provide deep subject matter expertise on US and international export controls, licensing, and deemed exports.
• Drive automation to streamline export compliance at scale.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Legal, Tax, Public Policy, and Global Trade Services to embed compliance into business processes.
• Own leadership communications, metrics, and executive reporting.
