Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) is seeking an experienced Global Trade Compliance Program Manager to scale its internal validations and oversight program for global import/export matters, leveraging technology and data to drive efficiency and accuracy.

You will collaborate with AWS Development, Datacenter Engineering, Services, Operations, Procurement, and Legal to implement governance and reporting that supports scalable compliance across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field required
• Experience cross-functional across multiple teams required
• Experience in customs or regulatory compliance preferred
• Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau) required

Responsibilities

• Identifies and defines a plan of action to advance AWS' internal validations program.
• Build communications and training plans to ensure all partners are aware of trade controls and risk mitigation.
• Manage global import/export regulatory or procedural changes impacting the program and communicate impact to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain data-informed metrics and monitor for actionable insights to enhance trade controls.
• Establish and manage positive business relations with key stakeholders and teams.
• Generate and contribute to performance requirements, timelines, and metrics for related activities.
• Proactively identify and drive automation, simplification, and process improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strict adherence to reporting and assessments.
