Job summary

Amazon is seeking a talented lawyer to support its worldwide aviation businesses, including Amazon Air and Prime Air, advising on regulatory and commercial matters and helping shape long‑term strategy. You will provide strategic counsel on aviation regulatory compliance (FAA, safety, dangerous goods), draft and negotiate agreements, monitor regulatory developments, and help expand into new geographies while leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve legal services.

Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• JD and bar admission required
• Experience in aviation regulatory compliance and engaging with regulators (FAA, TSA)
• Ability to draft and negotiate commercial agreements and advise cross‑functional teams

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel across Amazon Air and Prime Air on regulatory, commercial, and operational matters
• Advise on aviation regulatory compliance (FAA rules, dangerous goods, aviation security) and international requirements
• Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements
• Monitor evolving aviation regulations and translate into business guidance
• Support expansion into new geographies with regulatory insights
• Develop scalable legal playbooks and self-service resources
• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve legal services and workflows
