Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Global Trade Compliance Program Manager to build and scale our controls and oversight across global import/export matters.

This role focuses on leveraging data and technology to drive internal validations and a best-in-class review program. You will collaborate with AWS Development, Datacenter Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, and external partners, reporting to the Manager of Global Trade Controls and Oversight in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working cross functionally across several teams.
• Experience in customs.
• Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Identifies and define a plan of action to advance AWS' internal validations program.
• Build communications and training plans to ensure all internal and external partners are aware and aligned to trade controls and risk mitigation.
• Manage global import/export regulatory or procedural changes that impact the trade compliance governance program. Clearly communicate the changes and associated impact on the trade compliance program to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain data-informed metrics and monitor for actionable insights that enhance the trade controls program.
• Establish and manage positive business relations with key stakeholders and business teams
• Generate and contribute to performance requirements, timelines, and metrics for all related activities.
• Proactively identify and drive automation, simplification, and process improvement initiatives
• Build and maintain a strict adherence to reporting and assessments
