BD is seeking an Associate Director of Trade Compliance to lead U.S. and global import/export activities for a leading medical device company.

This role ensures uninterrupted supply while complying with CBP, FDA and PGA requirements. The candidate must hold an active LCB, have 8–10 years of international trade compliance experience in FDA-regulated environments, and be adept at HTS classifications, valuation, COO determinations, and cross-functional collaboration with Regulatory Affairs,

Formación

• Active U.S. Customs Broker License (LCB) required.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics or related field.
• 8–10 years of international trade compliance experience in FDA-regulated setting.
• Deep knowledge of 19 CFR, HTSUS classification, valuation, Incoterms 2020, and C-TPAT.

Responsabilidades

• Lead regulatory oversight as Licensed Customs Broker for imports/exports.
• Design and scale end-to-end trade compliance policies and controls.
• Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs and Quality on FDA NoA requirements and PGA obligations.
• Oversee HTS classifications, COO markings, and FTA-related determinations.
• Direct third-party brokers, forwarders, and contract manufacturers to minimize risk and improve clearance times.
