Job summary

Champro, a privately-owned sporting goods manufacturer, seeks a Global Trade Compliance Manager/Director to lead the enterprise-wide trade compliance program across U.S. imports and global logistics.

The role ensures CBP compliance, HTSUS accuracy, and compliant use of FTAs while transforming compliance into a data-driven control framework. Ideal candidate has 8+ years in trade compliance, 3+ in management, CBP/HTSUS expertise, and strong ERP/ACE portal experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international business, supply chain, business administration or related field.
• 8+ years in trade compliance within multi-national import/export environments; 3+ years in management.
• Strong HTSUS, 19 C.F.R., CBP valuation and CDP regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with CAFTA-DR or USMCA origin qualification and YARN-Forward rules is a plus.
• Proficiency with CBP’s ACE portal and ERP systems (SAP GTS, Oracle GTM).

Responsibilities

• Govern SOPs for U.S. import operations, classification, valuation and recordkeeping.
• Liaise with CBP and Partner Government Agencies; lead internal audit programs.
• Manage PSC submissions and Prior Disclosures under 19 U.S.C. § 1592; enforce 5-year recordkeeping.
• Oversee master data architecture for HTSUS classifications and COO determinations.
• Lead CAFTA-DR/USMCA administration and audit of BOMs for tariff shift and RVC.
