ttg Talent Solutions has partnered with a global aerospace leader to recruit a Director of Trade Compliance. This role leads a comprehensive global program, ensuring adherence to U.S.

and international import/export regulations and optimizing duty and tax exposure. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of trade compliance leadership, hands-on EAR/OFAC/BIS knowledge, and a track record of building and maturing programs across multiple regions, including the US and UK/EU.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible trade compliance experience with ownership of a program or major components.
• Hands-on expertise in EAR, OFAC, and BIS from day one.
• Experience leading, building, or scaling a trade compliance program, including procedures, internal controls, investigations, audits, training, and escalations.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance the global trade compliance program (policies, procedures, controls, investigations, audits, training).
• Ensure compliance with U.S., UK/EU, and other international regulations; manage HS/HTS/ECCN classifications.
• Oversee ecommerce/export licensing, screening, and end-use/end-user due diligence; coordinate with brokers and logistics providers.
• Provide guidance to executive leadership on risks, mitigations, and business impact.
