Job summary

BeOne Medicines Ltd. is seeking an Associate Director, Global Trade Compliance to design, implement, and oversee enterprise-wide import/export compliance programs.

You will lead multi-jurisdictional governance with CBP and international authorities across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, ensuring accurate master data and compliant operations. The role requires extensive experience in FDA, USDA, EPA programs, strategic duty optimization, and risk management, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or similar.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Global Trade Compliance.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years of progressive experience preferred in biotech/pharma/industry.

Responsibilities

• Global Import & Customs Operations.
• Multi-Jurisdictional Customs Governance across CBP and international authorities (EMEA, APAC, LATAM).
• Master data management for HTS, COO, and valuation methodologies.
• Design and execute duty savings programs (FTAs, Duty Drawback, FTZs).
• Coordinate FDA, USDA, EPA, and other agencies’ governance for cross-border compliance.
• Oversee risk management, audits, and corrective actions.
• Manage relationships with brokers and freight forwarders; monitor SLAs.
