Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an International Trade Compliance Analyst – Level 2 or 3 to join our Space Sector. This role supports export/import controls, classification, and regulatory compliance across multiple locations including Chandler, Gilbert, Sterling, and Redondo Beach.

The position requires a U.S. DoD Secret clearance eligibility, a U.S. Customs Broker license, and experience with EAR/ITAR, USHTS, and Schedule B.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant experience in trade compliance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with USHTS and Schedule B classification and customs rulings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage internal controls for export/import activities to ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign trade regulations.
• Establish processes for licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations.
• Coordinate with Sector Compliance and external customs brokers for submissions to authorities.
• Design and oversee export/import processes ensuring compliance through gate reviews.
• Maintain trade compliance records with accuracy and auditability.
• Collaborate with Law Department and other functions to address compliance issues.
• Develop training programs and audit activities to measure effectiveness of controls.
• Define and report performance metrics for export/import processes to drive improvements.
• Provide guidance on customs classification and product classification under USHTS/Schedule B.
