Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an International Trade Compliance Analyst – Level 2 or 3 to support export/import controls for multiple programs. Location options include Chandler AZ, Gilbert AZ, Sterling VA, or Redondo Beach CA, with roles at Level 2 or 3.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree with relevant experience, a valid U.S. Customs Broker license, and strong knowledge of USHTS/Schedule B. A DoD Secret clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant experience in export/import controls.
• Licensed U.S. Customs Broker.
• Expertise in USHTS and Schedule B classification and related rulings.
• Experience building export/import control processes for complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage internal controls for export/import activities to ensure compliance with US and foreign trade regulations.
• Coordinate licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations with Sector Compliance and external brokers.
• Partner with Compliance and Customs Brokers to align interpretations of regulatory requirements.
• Design and oversee trade compliance processes and gate reviews for shipments.
• Maintain trade compliance records with accuracy and auditability.
• Investigate and resolve trade compliance issues with Law Department and other functions.
• Develop training and audit activities to measure control effectiveness.
• Define, track, and report metrics to drive risk reduction.
