Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking an International Trade Compliance Analyst – Level 2 or 3 to join the Space Sector. The role supports export/import control programs across multiple locations including Chandler, AZ; Gilbert, AZ; Sterling, VA; and Redondo Beach, CA.

The position offers opportunities to develop and maintain rigorous compliance processes, interact with law and compliance teams, and contribute to mission-critical defense and space programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience with USHTS and Schedule B classification.
• Experience developing/export/import control processes for complex programs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage internal controls for export/import to ensure compliance with US and foreign trade regulations.
• Establish processes for licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations.
• Partner with Sector Compliance and external customs brokers for accurate classifications.
• Design and oversee trade compliance processes through gate reviews for shipments.
• Maintain trade compliance records with auditability and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Law Department to resolve trade compliance issues.
• Develop training programs and audits to measure control effectiveness.
• Define, track, and report performance metrics for export/import processes.
• Provide guidance on customs classification and USHTS/Schedule B interpretations.
