Job summary

Textron in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to ensure compliance with U.S. export/import regulations supporting international business. You will collaborate with engineering, supply chain, sales, IT, and legal to enhance the trade program through automation, training, and risk assessments.

The role emphasizes interpreting regulations, reviewing materials for exportability, and managing export/import authorizations while working in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in regulatory, business, or technical fields.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask with good problem-solving skills.
• Experience identifying training needs and delivering effective solutions with strong communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience supporting government contracting scenarios (FMS, DCS) is preferred.
• Experience researching Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and ITAR is preferred.
• Ability to implement advanced export/import control concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine drawings and data to determine export and Customs classification.
• Interpret and apply regulations applicable to products.
• Contribute to system and facility access decisions.
• Review and approve materials for exportability.
• Approve international shipments, travel, and foreign visitors.
• Present global trade related training materials.
• Participate in peer reviews and audits.
• Draft and manage export/import authorization applications.
