Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to manage global export/import compliance, classification, and licensing support. You will coordinate with internal partners to ensure accurate jurisdiction, declarations, and licensing aligned with ITAR and EAR requirements.

The role requires knowledge of HTSUS, Schedule B, and related trade controls, along with the ability to communicate complex regulatory matters and stay current with evolving export/import regulations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and/or 2–5 years in a Trade Compliance function in lieu of degree.
• Proven knowledge of ITAR and EAR; HTSUS and Schedule B.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to determine and assign jurisdiction of items using ITAR/EAR review.
• Classify items for import/export by assigning HTS and Schedule B numbers.
• Maintain records of jurisdiction assignments and classifications per regulations and policy.
• Collaborate with internal partners to communicate license controls and list-based requirements.
