Job summary

Livingston is a market leader in customs brokerage, international trade consulting, compliance and freight forwarding services. The Trade Compliance Analyst role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of customs transactions through post-entry activities, audits, and regulatory filings.

You will work with Operations and Compliance to identify risks, perform root cause analysis, and implement process improvements while staying current on changing regulations and tariff updates.

Qualifications

• Review and audit customs entries to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Process post-entry corrections, amendments, refunds, protests and filings on deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and duty assessments.
• Review invoices and supporting records for accuracy and completeness.
• Stay current on changes to regulations, tariffs, and trade programs.

Responsibilities

• Review and audit customs entries to ensure compliance with client requirements and procedures.
• Process post-entry corrections, amendments, refunds, protests, and other filings on deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, compliance issues, and duty assessments.
• Support internal audits and compliance monitoring activities.
• Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions.

Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Licensed Custom Broker recommended

CCS certificate in progress toward certification
