Job summary

AEG Presents seeks a Director Touring to oversee management of multiple tours with a promoter's view, focusing on operations, planning, and logistics. You will lead collaboration across departments and guide financial modeling and tour offers for theaters, arenas, and stadiums at a director level.

You will negotiate venue deals, coordinate with clients, and work to expand AEG's global footprint while ensuring timely settlements and on-site support throughout the tour cycle.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 6-8 years related work experience.
• Understanding of accounting and ability to complete accurate show settlements.
• Experience in touring music business domestically and internationally.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, venues, and co-workers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review ticketing items for assigned tours, coordinating with the tour ticketing director.
• Oversee collaboration with marketing, operations, ticketing, production, and legal on tour aspects.
• Develop and evaluate financial models and prepare tour offers for venues.
• Negotiate venue deals at theater, arena, and stadium levels; maintain client communications.
• Develop strategies to expand AEG's global footprint with each artist and manage tour cycle elements.
• Oversee nightly and tour settlements and manage on-site ticketing needs.
• Coordinate tour logistics and ensure production requirements are advanced across departments.
