Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business Communications, or related field
• 8–10 years of related marketing/advertising experience
• Experience creating and managing budgets
• Experience as a promoter is a plus
• Strong skills in Word, Outlook, Excel, and Photoshop
• Knowledge of brand identity, advertising, digital marketing & social media strategy
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of media buying, negotiating & contract documentation
• Understanding of music industry and artist demographics
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create detailed promotional and advertising plans targeting demographics for each show.
• Research trends and apply marketing practices to AEG Presents events and tours.
• Oversee marketing department performance and ensure deadlines are met.
• Determine department budgets with supervisor and forecast market trends.
• Develop strategies for existing events using data analysis and market research.
• Coordinate press releases, promotions, and advertising materials for tours and shows.
• Recruit, train and mentor marketing staff; manage workflow and results.
• Collaborate with booking to pitch artists and promotions to hires.
• Liaise with PR agencies, labels, and media for day-of-show activities.
• Build relationships with artists and management via live events and networking.
