Job summary

AEG is seeking a Director Touring to oversee multi-tour operations from a promoter's perspective in Los Angeles. You will lead the touring department, drive strategic planning, and coordinate across marketing, operations, and legal to ensure flawless shows and settlements.

The role requires 6–8 years in touring, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to negotiate high-profile venue deals while expanding AEG’s global footprint. Heavy travel is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree (4-year program).
• 6–8 years of related work experience.
• Understanding of accounting and accurate show settlements.
• Experience in touring music business domestically and internationally.
• Strong relationship-building with clients, venues, and teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication.
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
• Ability to travel extensively and stay on the road.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review ticketing items for assigned tours.
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, ticketing, production, and legal.
• Develop and evaluate financial models and tour offers.
• Negotiate venue deals at theater, arena, stadium levels.
• Manage tour scope to expand AEG's global footprint with artists.
• Oversee tour logistics and ensure timely information flow.
• Draft artist and venue contracts and manage show settlements.
