Job summary

Ideal Tridon seeks a Total Rewards, Compensation & Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations, benefits administration, and core compensation programs. The role partners with HR, Finance, and executives to manage merit planning, incentive design, and market pricing across U.S. operations, with global coordination in time.

The position is based in Smyrna, TN or Auburn Hills, MI with hybrid/remote options. Requires 7+ years of payroll leadership, a strong HRIS/benefits background, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, HR, business administration or related field is required.
• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience with leadership/management exposure.
• Foundational experience with international/global payroll operations.
• Experience administering employee benefits and reconciling deductions.
• Strong proficiency with modern payroll and HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for US populations and key pay cycles.
• Oversee merit planning, bonus programs, and market adjustments.
• Manage annual compensation budgeting, rankings, and governance.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external partners on pay data and audits.
• Develop communications and training for compensation programs and processes.
• Ensure data security and regulatory compliance across payroll/benefits.
