Job summary

Apollo.io seeks a forward-thinking Director, Total Rewards to lead global compensation, equity, and benefits strategy. You will drive AI-enabled models for rewarding impact, shape the equity framework, and collaborate across Finance, Legal, and Talent teams to attract and retain top talent.

This role reports to the SVP, People and sits on the people leadership team. You will design scalable rewards programs, pilot new approaches like token budgets or impactful pay, and ensure pay governance and

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, incl. 5+ years leading global compensation, equity, and benefits programs in high-growth tech environments.
• Original work in compensation: non-standard approaches like impact-based pay, compute or token budgets, or new equity structures; AI-native experience is a plus.
• Hands-on AI fluency: use AI agents in compensation analysis, modeling, or administration.

Responsibilities

• Evolve Apollo’s global compensation, equity, and benefits philosophy to align with strategy and internal equity.
• Design, pilot, and scale models for rewarding impact, including equity and AI-enabled pay concepts.
• Evolve job architecture, leveling, and market pricing; apply Corporate Leveling Framework and benchmark against peers.
• Own the equity framework across the employee lifecycle with Finance and Legal; model dilution and burn rate.
