Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of B2B sales in telecom with collocation/wholesale experience.
• Proven track record of quota attainment in hunting sales.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, team environment with revenue deadlines.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed regional/global sales territory.
• Prospect and qualify opportunities via direct calls, emails, and meetings with decision makers.
• Meet with customers onsite as needed to advance opportunities.
• Apply consultative selling to position connectivity solutions.
• Leverage Cogent's network footprint to win new business.
